Kinematics
in kinematics easier the problem look, difficult it actually is and difficult it look ,easy it is.
if u think kinematics, and not only kinematics but whole physics is difficult than u r goin to find urself surrounded by the devilish problems, hard to kill.
On the other hand if we just see the problem and instead of being panic just concentrate on how to solve it than solution is going to be there within minutes.
common terms
distance:
it is the length of the whole path traced by object
displacement:
it is the length of the  shortest possible route
speed
it is distance covered per unit time
velocity
it is displacement per unit time
acceleration
change in velocity per unit time

while calculating average quantity we deal with  'totals'
EXAMPLE
average velocity= total displacement/total time taken

àverage acceleration= total change in velocity/time taken

while calculating instantaneous  quantity we assume time interval very very small ie. approàchin zero
velocity= dx/dt( diffrentiate displacement with respect to time t)
acceleration= dv/dt ( diffrentiate velocity with respect to time t)

while dealing in 2 dimensian resolve everything in two different dimensions.
if r is the magnitude of quantity in direction making angle x with horizontal than component along vertical is r*sinx and along horizontal is r*cosx.
